A beautiful combination of floral rose simple syrup and our tangy citrus forward gin for a taste of the south.
2 ounces Chemist American Gin
1 ounce dry vermouth
1 teaspoon rose-infused simple syrup
3 dashes grapefruit bitters (orange bitters will also work)
Garnish: rose petal or lemon twist
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Add a few dashes of grapefruit (or orange) bitters.
Garnish with a rose petal or lemon twist.
